OpenKnol hosted the ‘Singapore Global Challenge Program’ from October 30th to November 2nd, spanning five days.

The program involved 18 South Korean companies, including RunKoreanInKorean, VSL, G&G International, DK MediInfo, LeanUpTech, Buurt, Okiberry, YSMCO, Wilbiden, Muti, ChicHan, UnderMilly, Upsite, OhMyBlend, Jelco, Turbine Crew, Pindi, Finolab, and Soteria8. These companies visited the facilities of global partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Google in Singapore. Participants received five days of training at the AWS Training Center and MTC (Microsoft Training Center), gaining insights into global market expansion. Additionally, they visited Block71, a startup incubator in Singapore, and attended a lecture by Singaporean unicorn Aspire to learn from the success stories of local companies.

Through this program, OpenKnol aims to expose South Korean companies to global tech trends and enhance their understanding of international markets by facilitating technology exchange programs and training with leading startups in Singapore. As part of the follow-up support, OpenKnol plans to provide tailored talent matching services to assist participating companies in their global expansion efforts.

Moreover, the Singapore Global Challenge Program offers networking opportunities with global venture capitalists (VCs) and accelerators (ACs) based in Singapore, which is the startup hub of the Asia-Pacific region. This initiative aims to help South Korean companies build networks with global investors and secure overseas funding, providing comprehensive support for their global ventures.

OpenKnol CEO Kwon In-Taek stated, "As we combine recruitment and education for companies, we naturally expand into areas that enhance productivity. For companies to expand globally, it is crucial to have knowledge and experience of global technology trends, as well as access to international investment." He added, "In the future, we will offer more comprehensive support beyond career education and recruitment to help companies achieve results in various directions, including global expansion."

In June 2023, OpenKnol also collaborated with Microsoft and NVIDIA to select over 60 leading South Korean companies in the fields of data, networks, and artificial intelligence (AI) and provided them with technology training to support their global competitiveness. OpenKnol plans to continue expanding its cooperation with global big tech companies through initiatives like this program.
