Turbine Crew Co., Ltd., a South Korean green technology company, announced its participation in 'NEXPO', held in Tallinn, Estonia, from November 13 to 17.

Estonia, known for leading AI startup innovation, has produced 10 AI startups per million people, ranking first among European countries. 'NEXPO' is an exhibition where entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers gather to create a more sustainable future. Over 80 green tech companies from around the world showcased a variety of products and ideas at the event. The exhibition provided opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange with startups, high-growth companies, investors, and multinational corporations from various countries. Turbine Crew sees this event as a stepping stone for entering the European market and advancing its technology development.

Turbine Crew is an approved AWS software partner and showcased its CGAN-LSTM-based local power generation forecasting system at the exhibition. This system can predict crop yields and manage disasters by integrating solar radiation and soil data, demonstrating the diverse applications of its technology.

Additionally, Turbine Crew is addressing the rapidly increasing global issue of waste batteries. The company has developed technology to repurpose the cells from waste batteries for use in wind and solar power generators, efficiently storing renewable energy through an ESS (Energy Storage System) in a smart pole format. This technology combines solar and wind generators into smart poles that are cheaper to produce than new batteries, and can be easily recycled by replacing only the necessary cells.

The technology is planned for application in off-grid areas, smart farms, and smart cities, with potential uses in CCTV, streetlights, digital signboards, and chargers.

Turbine Crew has previously garnered recognition with awards such as the 2022 MakerStar Invention Promotion Association President’s Award, 2022 Jeonnam Creative Economy Innovation Center IR Excellence Award, and 2022 National Mokpo University Robot AI Convergence Center MakerStar Award, among others. The company also holds over 20 intellectual properties, including patents and PCTs, and has obtained national certifications to further establish its credibility.

The CEO of Turbine Crew commented, "Our rapid growth was not achieved alone, but through the mindset of 'growing together'. We believe that this growth extends beyond Turbine Crew to related industries as well. We aim to grow alongside other industries connected to our technology, hoping to contribute to the activation of the ESG industry and a more beautiful planet."

The company also plans to leverage this opportunity to collaborate with European companies on innovative products for commercialization and to challenge Eurostars.
